is a series of children's stories about the funny things only kids do.

(Narrator)
“Sleepy Beepy was very clever
At not going to bed, not ever!

Of course sometimes at beddy-byes,
Children forget to close their eyes,
Want one more story to be read,
Instead of going straight to bed…

But I know someone who’ll amaze you
With his truly crazy ways to
Stay out of bed and not a-sleepy
Ladies and Gentlemen… SLEEPY BEEPY!”

—————

As quiet and darkness fill the house
Teeth are brushed and not a mouse
Would dare squeak under Mother’s gaze
While next door Father softly prays
That TONIGHT will be the one
When sleep descends upon his son.

“I’M NOT SLEEPY!” comes the cry
Mother gives a little sigh,
A teardrop falls from Father’s eye
WHY Sleepy Beepy? WHY?

—————

(Sleepy Beepy talking to his mom and dad)
“I really tried, by counting sheep,
I thought that it would help me sleep,
But they kept POOPING! Goodness sake!
No wonder I’m still WIDE awake.”

Well, that was what Sleepy Beepy said.
SLEEPY BEEPY, GO. TO. BED!

“Today I was jumping and lost count at ten,
So now I have to start again!
One…two… please count with me,
Just to six trillion, four million and three.”

Well, that was what Sleepy Beepy said.
SLEEPY BEEPY, GO. TO. BED!

“I know the stars are twinkling and it’s very dark,
But I’m thinking of an ANT that I found at the park,
It was definitely the BEST ant I’ve ever met,
I think we should find it, I want it as a pet.”

Well, that was what Sleepy Beepy said.
SLEEPY BEEPY, GO. TO. BED!

“You know how at dinner I pretended to SNEEZE
When you asked me to finish that big plate of peas,
And they FLEW off the table and covered the room…
…Well…SORRY!…..
I can tidy them now, if you pass me a broom.”

Well, that was what Sleepy Beepy said.
SLEEPY BEEPY, GO. TO. BED!

(MORE EXCUSES FILL THE PAGES…)

“I promise this is the last thing,
There’s a funny song I want to sing,
If you don’t mind, it won’t take long,
Watch me dance and hear my silly song.”

Well, that was what Sleepy Beepy said.
SLEEPY BEEPY, GO. TO. BED!
………………………………………

“LOOK at all my sleepy toys,
They must go to bed, so please DON’T make a noise,
All they each need is a teeny tiny hug,
Now they’re all tucked in, warm and snug…”

Well, that was what Sleepy Beepy said.
Sleepy Beepy, at LAST in bed!

“Tonight I’m reading my favourite book
It’s all about me and it’s nearly done – look!
I can’t go to sleep till the very last rhyme….”
Because….”

(Narrator)
“…. the end of the book is your bedtime.

Oh Sleepy Beepy! Our dear little friend
You’re asleep at last. It must be
THE END.”
